About Byler Ranch...
Welcome to the Byler Ranch Christian Summer Camp Web Site. Byler Ranch is an all night camp dedicated to giving young people a place to come and get a hold of Jesus while away from everyday life. God has such a wonderful plan for your life and He wants to use you and bless you more than you could ever imagine.
Byler Ranch Christian Summer Camp was created to reach out to 'every' young person with love and acceptance and for each one of you to realize your own intrinsic worth. The greatest thing you could ever do in your lifetime is to know God's Son Jesus Christ. In John 3:16 it reads, 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.' Jesus is the reason for your life. To know your Father God is the highest priority!
All of the Ellison family and staff are dedicated to you. Our desire is to impart the love of God's Son to you and to be an example of how the Christian life is to be lived. The Christian life is a life of Joy, Victory, Challenges, Struggles, Prayer, and Intimacy with Almighty God! Through the power of the Holy Spirit that God has made available to every person, we can live a life full of God's blessings. Through the avenue of camp we want all of our campers to see that the Christian life is a lifestyle to be lived everyday, not just on Sundays. We love Jesus here at the ranch and want that same love to spill over into your life. To be a success in life you must know the One who always wins, JESUS CHRIST! Jesus brings purpose, direction, and vision so that we can fulfill God's purposes for each one of us.
We are so excited to offer this new camp experience to all of you. We know that God is going to use this site to encourage and motivate you in your relationship with God. We will be updating this site on a regular basis so you can check back and be aware of all that is happening here at Byler Ranch. The Ellison's
 Ashley and Michelle Ellison along with their two daughters Ashlyn and Tristyn operate Byler Ranch. Byler Ranch is a God - centered 80 acre ranch that has been in the family since Ashley's Grandfather, Clell Byler ( Grandpa ) purchased it in the 60's. The ranch has been named after Mr. Byler. While you're here you will see him out working his garden or playing his harmonica with a smile and a wave. The Ellison's and Grandpa feel honored to have you choose Byler Ranch as "your" camp!
Our Commitment
We desire to reach out to every young person with an unconditional love, helping each one to realize his own worth. Everyone here desires to communicate the Love of Christ by leading young people in physical, mental, and spiritual activities that stimulate the Camper TO DO and TO BE his or her best! Learning the freedom of laughing at oneself and learning to live free from fear of failure are major objectives. Everyone Makes "the TEAM" at Byler Ranch. No one is left out. The Camp's many activities are dedicated to building confidence, developing personalities, deepening spiritual life and teaching the campers how to have fun doing it God's Way. Byler Ranch is truly a place where every Young Person is Outstanding all by himself!
Activities
Horse Back Riding |
Camper is given instruction in Western equitation, and also learns horsemanship terms, parts of the horse, knowledge of various breeds, etc. |
Riflery |
You can have fun and learn to handle a gun safely at the same time. Byler Ranch follows many of the National Riflery Association guidelines and teaching methods . |
Hodge Podge |
Variety - Variety - Variety. If you like a daily change of pace with New adventures, you will love this. Each day a different activity ( or two or three). Group games, Ping Pong, and water balloons add to the fun. |
Archery |
The Indians won't have anything on you! You can learn their skill; but balloons, apples, etc. take the place of deer and buffalo. Instruction is given in proper form and bow handling. Camp furnishes all the equipment. |
Nature Adventure |
Have really great fun studying nature and exploring God's Wonders. Snakes, bugs, flowers, trees, nature, hikes, field trips, etc. are all figured in the nature research plan. |
Drama |
Have fun being a "star" and gain self confidence. You will learn the fundamentals of acting and self projection. The actors will put on plays at camp and have lots of fun in personal development. It's GREAT! |
